When King Charles III visited Hallmark Lakeview Luxury Care Home in Surrey last week, the nation’s attention was drawn to a remarkable meeting. His Majesty spent time with Ethel Caterham, who at 116 is officially the world’s oldest living person.
As cameras captured the moment, the pair sat side by side, sharing memories that spanned decades - including Ethel’s recollection of the King’s investiture as Prince of Wales more than 50 years ago.
